Every project is designed step by step, through the following phases.

Concept Design

This design phase arises from in-depth research into the territorial context in which the project is contextualised, the history behind it, an understanding of the needs of the people who will live in the spaces, a marketing study and identification and analysis of the customer target.

The concept design for the Touch Studio is the identification of the project’s narrative that, as a fil rouge will follow and create the base for all the next phases.

The purpose of this stage is to develop an interior design concept for the Project, including volumes and forms, mood boards to identify the style & atmosphere, 3D sketches, general material intent, GA layout and furniture plans.

Schematic Design

We believe in a high-quality work approach, imbued with a deft expression of materiality which is evident in the bespoke details of the furniture and fittings. Hard surfaces such as marble, stone, custom-made aggregates and immaculate joinery create rigorous structural backdrops upon which the furniture by historical masters and contemporary creatives results in a beautiful paradox: timeless interiors.

In this stage of the project, we show the client the material boxes, furniture design direction, finishes layout and elevations, and identify the joinery and bespoke elements. We imagine the atmosphere & feeling of the main spaces through 3D visuals, that give the client the idea of how all the elements designed can live together.

Definitive Design

the Touch Studio develops the final drawings package, including plans, lighting and reflected ceiling plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings of architectural & design elements, along with all the drawing notes necessary for the construction and installation of the design. In this phase, we finalise the Mock-up room drawing package for our clients.

The FF&E specifications list describes in detail all furnishings and materials to be acquired, and the schedule lists the type, finishes and placement of architectural and design elements.

Construction & Execution

Bringing the project to life, in the last phase all materials, furnishings and accessories are ordered.

the Touch Studio supports the client with regular site visits to coordinate progress, inspect the quality of the workmanship on-site and make sure everything is realised according to high-end standards and arranged as per the design.
