This penthouse looking onto Central Park, with its elegance and soft colour palette, is designed to be an escape from the madness of New York City.
Our client is a family from Singapore, who was looking for an apartment that could combine the comfort of living in the heart of Manhattan, with the beauty of being immersed in nature and recreating an oasis of relaxation at home.
The location is special. All the apartment is facing Central Park, with its full height windows and this undoubtedly contributes to having a connection with the green lung of the city.
Entrance
For the entrance wall, we selected a Smoked Oak pre-finished by hand, giving the wood a pure earth-toned patina with vivid mellow variations in colour. The Oak is lye-treated to give this finish its luxury natural look fading beautifully when exposed to light.
When you open the door with a custom leather handle and enter the penthouse, you are welcomed by a Japanese sculptural art piece, which we selected for our client.
Main Living Room
The light and soft colour palette of the sofa is contrasted by the Ebony wood from Asia used for the central low table and the console.
The luxury carpet with its component of silk brings a shiny layer to the organic pattern.
Tea Area
The colour of the vegetation in Central Park is echoed in the deep green fabric of the two armchairs from the Touch Studio Collection.
The ideal spot for a drink after a stressful working day.
Dining Room
The view from the dining area is just incredible. 12 guests can be seated at the custom-built table in Sahara Noir black marble and the pendent light from the Touch Studio Collection is perfect for a double-height dining area.
The central chandelier in Murano bronze glass creates a soft diffuse light effect and the singular brass spots illuminate each plate, focusing and empathising the colour of the ingredients.

The building’s full-height windows, let the outside natural environment and the light of the sky reflect inside the penthouse and become a part of it.
The atmosphere inside alternates with the time of the day, changing with it and giving the feeling of being immersed in nature.
